Licensed Physicians and Dentists can earn required Credit hours toward the Acupuncture Certificate to practice acupuncture (300 credit hours) in New York and many other states.

In addition to holding 3-day weekend 25-credit hour seminars and workshops 7-8 times each year, the International College of Acupuncture and Electro-Therapeutics organizes a 4-day Annual International Symposium in early November in New York City, where internationally renowned clinicians and researchers present their latest work. All summaries of the symposiums have been published in the official journal.

F.I.C.A.E.:

The prestigious and internationally recognized honor, "Fellow of the International College of Acupuncture and Electro-Therapeutics" (F.I.C.A.E.), is awarded to members of the College who present a minimum of 2 original research papers during the Annual International Symposium and publish these in the official journal, or who have made significant contributions in the field.
